| Clary sage is a bushy, compact, highly branched annual that grows to 16" tall and 9" wide. Leaves are oblong to ovate, pubescent, medium green, to 2" long. 'Claryssa' has terminal spikes of pink, blue, purple, and white, whorled flowers which are encased by showy, prominately veined bracts of similar colors. Cut spikes make great fresh or dried flower arrangements. Thrives in full sun in well drained soil. Heat and drought tolerant. Native to the Mediterranean. |
