| Collected from a "Mayo ejido" or communal farm in Sonora, Mexico. Pods are up to 2 inches long and quite fleshy. Great container or border plant. Start seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Sow the seeds in sandy soil and give them warmth. Transplant 12-16 inches apart. Likes a fertilizer treatment once a month. To keep compact, pinch leaves on young plants. Full sun produces best growth and fruiting results. |
