| Primula aureata is an evergreen perennial with spoon-shaped to oblong, serrated, white-mealy leaves, to 3 inches long. In early and midseason, very short stalks bear umbels of 2 to 10 salverform, creamy white to yellow flowers with large, darker yellow eyes. Deep or partial shade in humus-rich soil, avoiding excess winter moisture, or grow under glass in an alpine house or frame. 6 inches tall, 8 inches wide. |
