| Spreading deciduous shrub grown for its long clusters of lilac to pink fragrant flowers with orange eyes. Panicles up to 1 foot long of dense fragrant flowers grow in summer. Graceful, arching branches bear pointed silvery-green leaves to 10 inches long. Reaches 10 feet tall to 15 feet wide. Ideal for attracting butterflies. Combines well with other perennials, especially daylilies and shasta daisies. This is one plant that thrives on severe pruning. |
