| This rounded, evergreen shrub has a refined appearance due to it's neat, small purple edged leaves, which by the way are fragrant when crushed. Perfect, dark crimson flowers are produced in July and can be quite showy. This is a wonderful shrub where temperatures do not wildly fluctuate, humidity is not high and night temperatures are cool. In otherwords, this plant is probably not the best for the South. Grow in well-drained, fertile, acid soil in full sun to light shade. |
