| This mat to mound forming semi-evergreen perennial has a woody base and makes an ideal groundcover. Reaches 3 to 5 inches tall and spreads to 9 inches. Fern like-leaves are a soft gray to green, linear, and have sharp teeth. Flowerheads form corymbs in pale yellow from early to midsummer. This heat and drought tolerant perennial has a fiberous root system and can become invasive. Divide to maintain. Butterflies are attracted to this plant. Good cut flower that dries well, too. |
