|This is a vase-shaped, upright deciduous tree. Leaves are dense, ovate, often lobed, dark green, up to 3 inches long. Pink buds develop into single, white flowers in spring. Fruit is yellow, approximately the size of a cherry. Grows to 40 feet tall and 10 to 20 feet wide. This tree does well in most soil, but will be more attractive if fed peat and compost.
