| This is a small, bushy, upright, evergreen shrub that is usually grown as a winter fruit-bearing annual. Grows up to 18 inches tall and wide. Leaves are elliptic, shiny, deep green, to 3 inches long, and with wavy margins. Summer borne flowers are star-shaped, white, 1/2 inch wide, and held in axillary cymes up to 2 inches wide. 'Cherry Jubilee' has small, round, orange, yellow, or white fruit, to 3/4 inches long. Native to E. South America. Protect from frost. |
