| Primula malacoides blooms early in the season into double, single or flat, light lilac-purple, red-pink or white flowers, to 1/2 inch wide, on soft hairy stalks. This is a rosette forming, upright, evergreen perennial that is usually grown as an annual. The pale green leaves have slightly frilly edges and are dainty and oval, to 4 inches long. Primroses are good planted in rock gardens, used as bedding plants and in containers. |
