Daphne odora
( Marginata )
| 'Marginata' is more widely grown than Odora. Leaves are edged with a band of yellow. In general, a compact, mound-shaped evergreen shrub small, but intensely fragrant, four-petaled pink or white flowers form in late winter or early spring. Leaves are narrow and dark green. Ideal for use by an entry where fragrance can be appreciated. Also nice addition to woodland path or in informal shrub borders. |
| Important Info : Thrives in shady situations, but known to do well in sunnier areas if given adequate water. Superb drainage is key! |
