| The cultivar, 'Youngii' (syn. H. 'Carl Teschner') is a compact grower, with dark stems and broadly egg-shaped, dark-green leaves to 1/4 inches long. In summer, large violet flowers with white throats bloom in axillary racemes to 1-1/4 inch long. These are suitable for rock gardens, mixed or shrub border and are also good container plants. |
