| Abies concolor is a slow to medium growing fir with blue-green leaves pointing upward and forward along the shoot. The 3- to 5-inch cones are greenish-purple when young, turning brown. Reaches heights up to 130 feet. 'Pendula' stands erect with weeping branches. It has flat, blunt needles on tiered branches. This plant enjoys plenty of sun, cooler climates and acidic soil. |
