| 'Violacea' is an elegant deciduous tree with a spreading habit. Grows 50 to 75 feet
tall and wide. Leaves are pinnate to 10 inches long, each with 17 ovate glossy, dark green leaflets which turn yellow in the fall. Small, fragrant, creamy white with violet-pink blush, pea-like flowers, to 1/2 inch across, are borne abundantly in terminal panicles, to 12 inches long. Native to China and Korea. |
