| This cultivar has dense, fragrant dark purple to blue flowers. Spreading deciduous shrub grown for its clusters of up to 1 foot panicles throughout the summer. Graceful, arching branches bear pointed silvery-green leaves to 10 inches long. Reaches 10 feet tall and about 15 feet wide. Ideal for attracting butterflies. Combines well with other perennials, especially daylilies and shasta daisies. This is one plant that thrives on severe pruning. |
