|Spreading and low-growing deciduous shrub grown for its long clusters of dense, fragrant flowers throughout the summer. Panicles up to 1 foot long are ruffled and lilac. Reaches up to 10 feet tall and about 15 feet wide. Ideal for attracting butterflies. Combines well with other perennials, especially daylilies and shasta daisies. This is one plant that thrives on severe pruning.
