| Fountain-like, deciduous shrub with fragrant, white, late spring or early summer flowers. An old fashioned favorite, at home in the shrub border. Allow ample room for arching branches. Remove oldest branches (back to ground) right after plant has finished flowering.
'Dame Blanche' is compact with peeling, dark blackish-brown bark. Semi-double, fragrant, pure white flowers are freely borne and generally held in pairs or in 3- to 5-flowered racemes. Bloomtime is early or midsummer. 6 feet tall and wide. |
