| Vigorous, upright, deciduous shrub, native to the Southeast. Small, lustrous green leaves with scalloped margins come in late spring. Profuse, scarlet-red or orange berries add winter interest and attract birds. Excellent specimen or accent in the shrub border or to stand alone. Must have a male pollinator for fruit production. Easy to propagate. |
