| This is a bushy, everygreen perennial with dense, pinnatisect, sparsely hairy or hairless leaves with linear lobes. Produces solitary, golden yellow flowerheads with purple disk florets. In general, this evergreen perennial may sometimes grow to be a sub-shrub. Grown primarily for their daisy-like red, yellow or orange flowers, this plant does best when grown in full sun in sandy, fertile soil. While plant is actively growing, water well and fertilize monthly with a balanced fertilizer. During winter months, water should be minimal. |
