| C. bella is a perennial with a clump-forming habit. The foliage and flowers bear fine hairs, giving the entire plant a wooly appearance. The flowers may be many shades of pink from pale to violet pink. These plants are attractive to bees and butterflies, and are good cut flowers. Sow seeds late summer or early fall in milder climates or early spring in colder climates. Plants will do better if lime is added to the soil, especially in acidic areas. |
