| Alstroemeria paupercula, also known as Alstroemeria violaces, is a tuberous perennial with 3 to 5 violet flowers on 3- to 6-rayed umbels that have white center bloom in the summer. Alstroemeria has narrow stem leaves that are twisted at the base with thick tuberous roots. When established, they lilies will send up numerous flowering stems to 2 feet high. |
