| Upright dense, oval to round-headed tree with vivid green leaves consisting of 3 elliptic to elliptic-oblong leaflets up to 3 inches long. Produces enormous pendant racemes in late spring that can grow up to 2 feet long. Usually grown for its showy flowers. Remains fairly small so is a good addition to a smaller yard. This tree is know to have an inherent virus that causes rosetting of the leaves. |
