| Semi-evergreen perennial with moss-like clumps of narrow-stalked, bright green, lance-shaped leaves, up to 3/4" long. Long, tubular, dark magenta flowers with notched petals, are borne profusely in late summer and early fall. Grows to 10" tall and spreads 12". This delicate plant is easy to grow and is at home in the woodland or rock garden that does not get too much winter moisture. Native to western Asia. |
