| Tweedia caerulea is a twining subshrub growing to 3 feet tall. Can be grown as an annual, blooming from late summer into fall, from spring sown seed. Leaves are 4 inches long, flowers are 1 inch wide, star-shaped, pale blue to lilac, borne along the stems and at branch tips. Pinch tips of young plants to promote bushy growth. Makes a good cut flower. Will grow in any well drained soil, likes full sun and regular moisture. |
