| Acer buergerinum is a rare maple in North America and Europe. One of the most difficult to propagate, its a spreading, deciduous tree with 3 1/2-inch dark green leaves above and blue-green on the undersides. Blooms in yellow flowers. The cultivar, 'Maruba tokaede' is a medium tree, densely branched with green, leathery leaves. Main veins in the leaf base is very prominent. Very good autumn colors, mainly red to orange. |
