| Maple Leaf is a clump-forming, herbaceous or semi-evergreen perennial with wide ovate, mid-green, red-flushed leaves. Produces white, pink-flushed flowers. In general, Tiarella is a clump forming perennial, spread by rhizomes or stolons. Small white or pink flowers are born on slender spikes, arising from the rosette of leaves. They require partial to full shade, moist, well drained soil. Very pretty in a shaded corner of a rock garden, and can be used as a groundcover in areas without foot traffic. Various species and cultivars are available. |
