|This is a twisting, deciduous climber with soft, hairy leaves, to 14 inches long, with 9 to 13 egg-shaped leaflets. In early summer, pea-shaped, fragrant, violet to white flowers bloom in racemes, to 6 inches long, followed by green seed pods, to 8 inches long. 'Shiro Kapitan' produces white, double flowers with yellow markings.
Important Info : After planting, prune back the leading shoot to 36 inches above ground level.
