| Spreading, deciduous shrub. Showy flowers, attractive foliage, and spreading growth habit. Dark green leaves are obovate to 8 inches long. Tulip-shaped flowers are fragrant, goblet-shaped, generally white, 3 to 6 inches across. Grow magnolias as specimans, or among other trees and shrubs. Number one problem may be that flowers can be burnt back by late winter, early spring frosts. |
