| Shrubby clump forming perennial. Leaves are medium green and large with 7 to 10 palmate, fuzzy, lance-shaped leaflets to 3/4 inch long. Grown for their brilliant bi-colored, salmon-orange and yellow sweet pea shaped flowers on tall spikes in spring and early summer. Wonderful cottage garden additions, eye-catching when planted in large masses. Other than requiring good drainage, not fussy about soil. Can start from seed in winter or early spring. |
