| A hardy evergreen perennial that likes well drained soil. They can be found in coastal areas and mountain regions of Europe, Turkey, North Africa and the western coast of North and South America.
Dense clumps of grass-like foliage with flowers rising on stalks in summer. Rounded clusters of pink to reddish purple flowers to 1" wide. Leaves are 1 1/2 to 5 inches long and the stems can reach 8 inches in length. Attractive edging plant. Remove spent flowers and feed only once a year with slow-release fertilizer. |
