| This is a widely columnar deciduous tree grown for its ornamental leaves, great red fall color, and attractive fruits. Grows to 25 feet tall and wide. Leaves are deep blue-green, pinnate, to 6 inches long, with up to 15 ovate leaflets. White flowers are borne in pyramidal corymbs to 5 inches across, followed by round, deep pink berries. This hardy tree can tolerate heat or cold, strong winds and low humidity. Must have good drainage. Resistant to fireblight. Native to China. |
