| White flowers, 4-6 inches across, with narrow tepals. A fast growing tree with a rounded canopy. Large shrubs or small trees, with pink or white flowers, 11-16 narrow tepals. It is a hybrid that is not found in the wild. Introduced into cultivation 1923 by Loebner. Flower color ranges from white to pink, 4-6 inches across. Blooming time is between March and May, fruiting August to September. Growth habit varies from single stem trees of 25 feet tall to multi-stemmed shrubs. Easily propagated from cuttings, flowering at an early age. |
| Important Info : Magnolias in this group are crosses between M. kobus var. kobus and M. kobus var. stellata, resulting in plants intermediate between the two parents. |
