| C. terniflora is a deciduous or semi-evergreen climber belonging to AHS group 3. Small, 3/4 to 1 1/4 inch wide late summer to fall flowers are borne on present year's growth. Blooms are followed by fluffy seed heads. Leaves are pinnate and divided into lance-shaped leaflets, 3/4 to 6 inches long. Beautiful along fences and arbors. Full sun is preferable. Native to Japan. |
