| Compact deciduous shrub grown for its long clusters of fragrant flowers throughout the summer. Panicles up to 1 foot long of dense fragrant flowers are a rosy pink. Graceful, arching branches bear pointed silvery-green leaves to 10 inches long. Reaches 5 feet to 6 feet tall to 6 feet to 8 feet wide. Ideal for attracting butterflies. Combines well with other perennials, especially daylilies and shasta daisies. This is one plant that thrives on severe pruning. |
