| Vigorous, self-clinging climber with enormous clusters of 4 to 5 inch flowers produced at branch ends all summer long. Cup-shaped blossoms combine solf shades of orange, peach, and melon. Attracts hummingbirds. Prefers ful sun for maximum growth and flower production, but tolerates shade. Hardy in zone 3b. This deciduous spreader grows to a height of 30 to 40 feet. Keep moist until completely established. Drought tolerant when established. Fertilize in spring just before growth begins. Prune to control growth in early spring and summer. May be trained on a fence as a screen. |
