| 'Elfin Pink' has clear pink flowers. P. barbatus has semi-evergreen basal rosettes and deciduous stems. From early summer to early fall, produces long panicles of pendent, tubular red flowers, the reflexed lower lips with yellow beards, the upper ones projecting over them.
