| Excellent ground cover for shady areas, this clump-forming perennial has wavy, rounded, 5 to 7 lobed, soft-green leaves. Reaches 3 to 5 inches tall and spreads up to 20 inches. Leaves are dark green on top and hairy and silvery underneath. Flowers are abundant, tiny and greenish-yellow on 3 to 5 inch stems. Blooms in summer. Dew and water droplets adhere to leaf surface giving fresh look to the border. Look closely, as this species is often confused with Alchemilla conjuncta. |
