| Low-growing evergreen shrub with dense, dark green foliage. Reaches up to 6 inches in height and up to 10 inches in width. Masses of deep pink and white flowers are rounder and larger than that of the species. Blooms in spring. Leaves are broad and ovate, 1/2 to 1 1/2 inches long, and look similar to rosemary leaves. Excellent for rock gardens, borders or ground cover. Likes moist, acidic soil. In drier sites, apply a good layer of mulch each spring. |
