|This cultivar has silver leaves with jagged edges, and plumes of yellow flowers. It is not as tall as the species. Bushy perrenial spreads by rhizomes. Silver green leaves are narrow, divided or toothed lower on the stem. Small light yellow flowers appear on panicles in summer to autumn.
Artemisia is found mainly in the Northern hemisphere and also parts of southern Africa and South America. Many species are used medicinally and for cooking.
