| The cultivar, 'Decumbens' is a very low and dense evergreen shrub with forest green leaves, rarely more than two feet in height.
C. x dansereaui usually has white flowers with yellow and scarlet "thumb-prints" at the base of each petal are borne in terminal cymes and last only a day but are replenished with new ones the next. Very nice in borders, along pathways, or at the base of walls. They will thrive in poor soil but not in colder climates. |
