| Cerinthoides is a hardy, creeping or ascending perennial with thick, branching stems and dark green leaves, hairless above, hairy beneath. Produces pink and white flowers intermittently throughout the year. In general, Tradescantias are tufted clumping perennials with erect, branching stems and lance-shaped, narrow, green leaves tinged with purple. Blooms are blue, purple, rose-pink or white, with three triangular petals each. Be sure to cut the foliage back in the autumn. Does well even in wet soils and filtered light. |
