|This is a spreading deciduous tree grown for its ornamental leaves, great red fall color, and orange-yellow berries. Grows to 30 feet tall. Leaves are deep green on top, woolly-white below, pinnate, to 10 inches long, with up to 15 tapered, lance-shaped leaflets. White flowers are borne in corymbs to 5 inches across, followed by round, orange-yellow fruit. This hardy tree can tolerate heat or cold, strong winds and low humidity. Must have good drainage. Canker and fire blight may be a problem with this plant. Native to China.
