| This is pyrimidal in youth, rounded oval in age. Star-shaped leaves are reminiscent of some maples. They have 5-7 lobes and appear either alternate or palmate and gold and green and glossy, turning to striking purples, reds and oranges. Leaves are followed by mace-like fruit clusters. Plant in full sun for best fall colors. Winter hardy and grows 60 feet by 35 feet. |
