| V. glaucoalbum is a deciduous, spreading shrub with lance-shaped, glossy dark-green leaves, bright bluish beneath to 2 1/2 inches long. Cylindrical, pink tinged white flowers are borne in axillary and terminal racemes in May and June.
Followed by delicious, edible, blue-black berries. Usually grown for it's sweet fruit, can also be utilized in a mixed shrub border or woodland garden. This plant loves acid soil. |
