| Waldsteinia ternata is a semi-evergreen perennial with rounded, terminal leaflets that grow from long and slender stems, to 2 1/2 inches long, scalloped and toothed in a diamond shape. Cymes of up to 7 bright yellow, saucer-shaped flowers, to 1/2 inch wied, bloom in late spring and early summer. Good planted on dry, shady banks. Seldom bothered by pests or diseases. Plant can be invasive. |
