| Deciduous, erect, bushy shrub that grows to 20' tall and wide. Leaves of 'Aurea' are pinnate, to 10" long, consisting of up to 5 ovate, serrate, golden yellow leaflets with pinkish stalks. In early summer produces flattened panicles, to 8" wide, of musk-scented, small, white flowers. After blooming period is over, produces small, round, shiny black fruit. Native to Europe, North Africa, and Southwest Asia. |
