| Upright, narrow annual with grayish-green, slender, lance-shaped leaves, to 1 1/2" long, and sticky stalks. Rose-pink flowers, to 1/4" wide, are held in showy cymes of up to 30 blossoms, borne in summer. Widely grown for its interesting grayish-green, oval, hairy, sticky calyces. Grows to 20" tall and spreads 6". Easy to grow and often self sowing, if winter moisture is not excessive. This delicate plant is at home in the woodland or rock garden and should be placed where it can be appreciated. |
