| S. x anglica (S. aretioides x S. lilacina x S. media), blooms in cup-shaped, pink to pink purple flowers to 3/4 inches across either in single or 2-3 cymes. Dark to gray green, oblong to spoon shaped leaves 1/8 to 1/2 inch long adorn this species that blooms in early to midspring. Suitable for rock crevice, or alpine house. Does best in fertile, very well drained soil. |
