| 'Wentworth' has deep red fall color and bears yellowish red fruit that ripens to bright red. Viburnum trilobum is rounded in form and fairly dense. The leave are lustrous medium to dark green. The white flowers are similar to V. opulus, blooming late spring, on 4 inch cymes. Excellent choice for screening and informal hedging.
It is subject to a stem blight in warm, humid areas. However it is an adaptable shrub native from New Brunswick to British Columbia, south to New York, Oregon. |
