| Clematis alpina 'Pink Flamingo' is a deciduous climer and belongs to AHS group 1. 1 1/2 to 3 inch wide semi-double flowers are borne on last year's shoots from early spring to early summer. Blooms are followed by showy, woolly seed heads that persist through fall. Leaves are divided into 3 to 5 toothed, lance-shaped or widely oblong leaflets, 1 1/4 to 2 inches long. C. alpina and its cultivars are highly suitable for sites which are cold and exposed. It is a native to Europe. |
