| This tufted or mat-forming perennial is known for exceptional hardiness, tolerant of poor soils and little water. Foliage is oval, to oblong shaped with dark green leaves 3 inches long with sticky unbranched stems. Blooms from early to mid-summer, with numerous salverform, spikelike panicles of white flowers, some double 3/4 of an inch across with notched petals. Often, flowers will remain through first frost. |
